A Student Ambassador assists the Admissions Office with a variety of tasks including speaking with prospective students and parents about Hawkeye, helping with Experience Hawkeye visit days, giving tours to prospective students and parents, participating in student panels by answering prospective students’ questions, and helping with large group visits to campus. This position also helps with general office duties such as restocking materials, filing, answering phones and data entry. Some heavy lifting may be required. Students applying should have strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work with small and large groups of people. Dependability and flexibility are a must.
